I was very pleased with the attractiveness of these cages as my tomato plants grew up inside them. I carefully tried keeping all the branches inside the loops as directed, and until mid July all was beatiful. Each of my plants had over twenty fruits each and looked perfect, then we had a very hot humid streak of weather during which the tomatoes had a growth spurt and overnight all three cages stretched down and left the stem of my tomatoes folded in a zig=zag pattern with all the heavy tomatoes sagging to the ground. Many tomatoes fell off, but the plants remained well hydrated and perfectly green, but spread out on the ground. I tried tying up the loops with twisty tie wire and twine but to no avail the tomatoes were just too heavy for these pitiful cages. They were great untill the fruits got heavy, so they would be beatiful for flowers or maybe peas and beans, but no way are they for any heavy fruits and veggies. not only did they waste the money I spent on them , but they wasted all the labor and money I put into caring for my tomatoe plants. My tomatoes are in a front garden with annual flowers, so I was trying this as an attractive alternative to regular cages which are always too small anyway, these had the hieght needed, but no strength. If you fuss with your garden and give it water and fertilizer so that you have big healthy plants, do not buy these! NOT FOR BIG HEALTHY TOMATOE PLANTS!!!!!! only good for skinny little vines with no fruit.
