This was my first mower. For some it will be great, for others less so. For the blades to turn it needs traction so it won't cut on wet grass. If, like my lawn, you have a mixture of growing speeds and grass hts, this mower will not do a good cut once you get into the thick of the grass growing season. I love using this for it's quite, clean, meditative attributes, but after 2 years I bought a gas-powered mower. This was because I want to cut my grass very high (long) and I had very uneven grass/weed lengths (nut sedge etc). If you have a smallish, evenly growing lawn you will love this. If you don't cut your lawn until it is higher than the highest cut on this mower you will struggle. Quality of product is excellent.

This mower didn't work for me at all. Downhill, the wheels would skid and not turn the blades. Even when I cut the lawn very short, the mower blades would fail to cut the grass. Uphill wasn't much better. I think you would need a very fine type of grass for this mower to work.
