This bat house is advertised as a cedar bat house but the compartment dividers and back are made of plywood which can release dangerous fumes when the formaldehyde glue (used in plywood making) breaks down. Also the green plastic netting fills up with guano and after a few seasons the bat urine caused the plastic to break down also. Not "All Natural" as advertised. This bat house would not pass the certification standards of Bat Conservation International. Although OBC claims to have certified this bat house they also make and sell them. You have to be suspect of such an operation.
