I agree with previous review. It is an excellent idea, but the straps will not hold still and I have an extremely hard time keeping them on my feet. I've had them for about 5 years now and have only used them about 3 times. Would love to use them more, but I don't know how to keep them on my feet.

I got a pair of these this week after seeing them on the web a few years ago. The first time I tried them on I realized they kept slipping off. I would tighten the straps down again and again with the same result. I cinched them down very tight the last time and the plastic buckle on the strap broke. So the straps are in the category of "sucks." I am going to try some mods to see if I can improve them with some homegrown engineering. Good idea, poor engineering.

These work really well,I've 2 pair of these shoes and I often let neibors borrow the other pair. I think every home owner should have a pair,if you care about your lawn.

The following statements from the product description do not apply to anyone with small feet: "universal fit goes over most any size shoe or boot" and "heavy guage straps stay tight on your foot." My feet are a common size (7) and my feet swam in these things. I could not get them to stay on. After two attempts, one with my clunkiest hiking boots, I gave up. They are sitting in my garage, useless. If you are a male with average to large feet, you're probably fine. Women with average to small feet, don't waste your money.
