I got the "sealed" version, with a diverter.
But the screw-on top doesn't seal perfectly, so if the barrel is full and it starts to rain, water leaks out between the barrel and the lid. So put it somewhere that has good drainage!
Also the top of the sealed barrel is like a bowl that catches rainwater and holds an inch or so of water: perfect for breeding mosquitos! . And you can't empty out that trapped water easily (every try tilting a filled water barrel?).

Recently received my barrel in a timely manner, and it was exactly as described. It has an attractive finish, is put together well, and thoughtfully too. I plan on buying another very soon.
