Check out our sun protection store section. It’s where we have suggested products that are lifesavers, maybe literally, when gardening in the sun.
Let’s face it; the sun is brutal on our skin. So, here are some good ways to protect yourself while you’re out working in the yard or garden. Don’t forget to create shady spots to rest. A garden arbor in the yard doesn’t just make a nice addition visually. It makes a cool place to rehydrate or to repot your containers.
So, look at our sun protection products. While it has natural sunscreen for babies and adults, the section also has garden clothes. Remember, creating shady spots to work makes gardening in the heat and sun tolerable. But, don’t forget to create personal shade with gardening hats, or covering hands with garden gloves to prevent a sunburn.
If it’s still too hot in some southern or western states to be out in the sun, switch it up to your windowsill and indoor garden!
