2 Questions:

Would the tumbleweed compost tumbler be good for someone who cannot turn the unit more than a couple of weekends a month?

Can wild life (bears) be attracted to it’s odor and open the tumbler?

I’m not aware of any composters that are bear proof, unfortunately. Yes, they can smell food scraps in a bin.

But it’s no problem to tumble it less often.

Everything still breaks down. It’s just a little quicker when you tumble it more regularly, because it keeps everything better mixed up and aerated.
