The top soil there was high in clay content. When the lawn was dry, the spikes (and my weight which is not insignificant) would not penetrate the soil, and the sandals kept coming loose and falling off. Wehn the lawn contained some moisture, the spikes would stick, and the sandals would pull off. My recommendation: don't waste your money.
