Let a frog water your plants this Holiday

When looking for a perfect Christmas gift, I always try and find something unique. It’s a great idea to take someone’s interests into account, and then find a unique gift based off of that idea. For example, some people have a thing for frogs. Take my father – he’s got 8 or 9 frog statues or figurines sitting around the garden. I’m not sure why. He’s never owned a frog (not that I can remember), and we don’t often get a lot of frogs hopping around the garden. Instead, he just tries to create his own “froggery” with a bunch of porcelain frogs sitting around the garden. The point of this is that for a guy like my father, the drip it frog houseplant waterer combines his love of gardening with his love of a solid frog statue.

Now, keep in mind, you don’t necessarily have to know someone who likes frogs to consider this as a gift idea – someone who just enjoys to garden may just enjoy this. What this frog does is automatically water your plants for two weeks. It uses drip irrigation (hence the name). All the gardener has to do is fill it with water and stick it in the soil with the plant. The frog waters through a “wick” that lets water fall into the soil at a calibrated rate. Problem solved. At $9.99, it’s an excellent gift idea for the avid gardener, and it is the ideal gift for the gardener who also has a thing for frog statues and figurines. Problem solved. Gift giving has never been easier!
