Actually, there is a movement already!

Project Laundry List.

http://laundrylist.org/index2.htm

They even have the Top Five Reasons to use a Clothesline, and they point out that electric dryers use five to ten percent of residential electricty.

1. Clothes last longer.

2. Clothes and sheets smell better.

3. Conserve energy.

4. Save money.

5. Physical activity that you can do this activity outside.

6. Clothes dryer fires account for about 15,600 structure fires, 15 deaths, and 400 injuries annually.

I would like to start a movement encouraging people to hang their clothes. Any ideas??

I am a mom to a family of five. I hang our clothes out 98% of the time in the warmer months of the year and feel guilty when I use the dryer.
