Go Carbon Neutral

by kswanson56 on October 2, 2007

One way to show your commitment to green living is by becoming carbon neutral — that is, by offsetting the amount of carbon you’ve introduced into the atmosphere through driving, heating your home and office, and other activities that add carbon dioxide to the ecosphere. Besides conserving energy and resources by biking to work and cutting grass with a push mower, you can plant trees and other plants to offset your carbon expenditures. You can also purchase carbon offsets from companies like Carbonfund.org, which will allow you to neutralize your carbon usage through reforestation, investment in renewable energy sources, and energy efficiency programs.

Hi,

This is Erika, and I work with Carbonfund.org, where our mantra is “Reduce What You Can, Offset What You Can’t™”.

An important step to becoming carbon neutral, is reducing our carbon emissions. Check our site out for great tips to save energy, http://www.carbonfund.org/site/pages/save_energy/ . Offsets then enable us to become completely carbon neutral.

Thanks for this!
