Community Supported Agriculture

If you can’t grow your own organic products, you may be able to join a community supported agricultural program where you can become a shareholder in an organic farm or garden. There are thousands of options across the USA. See www.localharvest.org for more information.

I just joined an organic farm as a shareholder this year for the first time. The first pickup was last night, and I’m sure my kids enjoyed it, although I’m currently at the Internet Retailer show and missed it.
I think it’s going to be educational for my kids, and I’m looking forward to the fresh produce too!
(I’ve got almost 30 acres, but no where decent to grow anything — heavily wooded and swampy)
