There are many different gifts that can appeal to women in relation to gardening. However, the field can be easily narrowed down. We’ve taken a look at many of our products and tried to narrow down a few that are really great for women. Here’s 5 gifts that any woman who loves to garden can appreciate.
The first of these is the Wastie Garden Apron. This apron is a little bit more than just an apron, it also features a pouch that allows you to collect debris, herbs, berries – you name it! It also features side pockets and zippers – which allows you to carry your tools with ease. It’s really wonderful in the garden, and can make gardening a whole lot easier.
Multi-tools are also great gift ideas. The trake is one of these such tools that really performs well. It’s a trowel and a rake all in one that can easily be carried at an overall length of just 17 inches. It eliminates the need of carrying two tools around – you can carry both a trowel and a rake, and its sleek compact design makes it ergonomically sound and easy to use for women’s hands. This is a gardening gift that will definitely delight any woman.
Speaking of small, compact, easy to use tools, the Circle Hoe is another easy to use tool that is an ideal gardening gift for women. This tool is just 15 inches long, and is great for detail work while you are gardening. The sides of this tool are dull, so you’re only using the center while weeding. It allows you to properly weed and really get in close without damaging other plants. Women love this tool because it’s easy to handle, and makes weeding a more enjoyable, quicker experience.
Copper Plant Markers also make a great gift. They are stylish and cute! You can use a grease pen or a permanent marker to write the name of the plant that is in the designated section. If you use a permanent marker and want to reuse the plant marker, you can take the ink off with just a little bit of rubbing alcohol. These come in a set of six, and really help the aesthetics of a garden.
Finally, we have the Ergonomic Gardening Stool. This gardening stool is designed to help relieve back strain. Especially if you’ve got lumbar problems (degenerative disk, pinched nerve, slipped disk, etc) this stool is ideal. Even if you don’t have back problems and you do a lot of gardening from your knees, this stool will also make gardening way more comfortable.
And there you have it! 5 great gifts for women who love to garden! If you know a woman who’s a huge fan of gardening, getting her one of these gifts will really show a lot of insight in your part. So if you feel you are out of ideas this holiday season, have no fear! We’ve got 5 different ideas that can make 2009 a great gift giving year!

imho, any serious gardener would not want any of these. the shovel is way too narrow at the bottom. don’t you want to get the entire root ball? or make a hole with less digging? the claw on the end, to me for the amt. of times i use one, is useless. the hoe is too small and why would you want a rounded one?. if you really want a better garden hand tool, get one with a longer handle. it’s much easier on the hands, arms, back and it gives you a lot more torque making digging much easier. the stool, meh…. good in theory but all the leaning down must do a # on the back. how can you really weed when you are 3 feet above the root base? the plant tags. well, pretty and eco-friendly. i will give you that. i looked at the men’s gifts and they are, well i have to say kind of sexist. a machete? where is this guy gardening, the rain forest? is he going to plant his tomatoes with the knife?-he says you can scoop dirt with it. good luck with that! and the shoes? ok, go ahead and aerate your lawn if you so desire. my point is, why are all the men’s gifts pointed, sharp and rather dangerous while the women’s gifts are small and ineffective? think you guys missed the boat on this one……
